My Opinions on Blogging

I must say that this post is completely inspired by Libby from www.justbookingaround.wordpress.com. I have just read her Q&A and have come under a sudden urge to write my own blogpost.

How would I describe myself? I can do it in just about three words:

Bookworm. Student. Hermione.

Yes, I feel that that summarises me sufficiently well. I realise that this is perhaps not the most in depth introduction but I have a sheet of chemistry summer homework resting beside by left hand and so I have to keep this brief.

I must admit that this is not my first blog… I have led three other blogs which all notoriously failed and became dormant after mere weeks. I hope that this one will turn out differently; however, I find myself doubtful. You see, I am just slightly obsessed with studying and reading and learning. If I could, I would spend twelve solid hours working everyday; however, aching backs and social activities usually prevent this elysium. I further have a YouTube channel (Ruby Granger) which takes a surprising amount of effort to run. I adore filming and making videos; however, each video consumes a few hours. Watching videos a couple of years ago, I thought it to be an easy task; after all, people uploaded once or twice a week and I could see no visible repercussions. Now that I am making my own videos, I recognise my ignorance and silently apologise to my frustration when someone did not post their weekly video.

It is refreshing to write in this manner. I am not even thinking as I type… it is like a constant stream of consciousness. Although, this is an enjoyable pastime, I find my eyes glancing at that piece of beckoning science work and realise that I cannot withstand it any longer. Calcium Copper Silicate research awaits!

Have a productive week.
